PAPER ON SKIN 2026 SOCIAL MEDIA AGREEMENT  -  OVERVIEW

Congratulations on your success as a finalist for Paper on Skin™ 2026.

In accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Entry, we ask that you sign the Paper on Skin™ 2026 Social Media Agreement.

The agreement requests that finalists create content for use on social media during the lead-up to the gala and after the gala outcomes are announced.

Note that the content you produce is not being assessed and will not influence any judging outcomes. Our request is that you document your creative journey and allow us to share this via our channels.  We recommend you share the content also - most of you already are!

An easy, HOW-TO guide will be provided. Phone footage is absolutely fine. Short snippets are good. 15 – 60 seconds works well.

The focus

The content should focus mainly on you as an artist, your practice, your materials, your process, and your experience.

Important

In the case of a debut work, please do NOT reveal your full garment before the gala

Before the gala, you may share:

  • Sneak peeks

  • Close-ups

  • Details or textures

  • Materials

  • Your inspiration or process

Content expectation

  • 2 – 3 videos of your making journey between notification date and delivery of the work (simple phone videos are perfect)

  • Other content (photos, captions, reflections) is optional

  • Submit only original content

  • Obtain permission from anyone who appears in your content

  • Avoid unlawful or harmful material

  • Do not infringe third-party rights

  • Ensure material contains no unlawful, offensive, or defamatory material

Who owns the content?

You retain full copyright and IP, but by signing this agreement you are giving Paper on Skin™ permission to use the content.

  • During the making/creating phase

  • During the Paper on Skin™ activities and events

  • After the Gala to share outcomes.

  • On Paper on Skin™ social media platforms

  • On websites, in media, YouTube and in promotional materials.

  • In future Paper on Skin™ marketing and archive
