paula damm

Paula Damm’s work delves into family history and autobiography, using stitching to explore themes of resilience, identity, memory, individuality, and transformation. Her intricate and tactile works invite viewers to reflect on the passage of time and the emotional weight carried in everyday materials.  Using unconventional and recycled paper products, she strives to push the boundaries of textile art and the ephemera from which her creations are made.
