ARTIST STATEMENT

Tanja Major

This world inspired by nature applies the concept of reflection to human relationships. This may explain the appeal of the objects - the dreamlike forest secrets, which manifest themselves as delicate formations, create mystical, magical spaces in which shadow and light touch similar reflections in the most hidden places of our soul.

It is about the fragility of nature, the interconnectedness of life, the microguidance system of fungi. They are part of the water and mineral supply for all of us.

For me, fungi paper production is a way of life that goes hand in hand with a love of nature and wilderness. Paper is like nature. Listening is important. Never go against it. Let the materials play, let things happen, let the materials create wonders, push the boundaries, go to the edge.

The aim is to end the exploitation of nature and the oppression of women in society.
